HDI

Following the UK government’s announcement that social distancing measures will be eased from 4th July, HDI has revised our guidance on a phased return to office-based work. All HDI Global SE colleagues will continue to work from home whilst we conduct risk assessments of our offices to ensure the safety and security of our colleagues, broker partners and clients. Once these are complete we will commence a phased return starting, in line with current guidance, no earlier than 1st September. We will continue to review UK Government guidance and advice as and when it is updated.

Our teams are fully provisioned to continue supporting broker partners and clients remotely. If you have any concerns regarding your account(s) with HDI, please contact Stephanie Ogden directly either by phone 07900 566 973 or by email Stephanie.Ogden@uk.hdi.global.

15th May 2020: Guidance for returning to the workplace

As the government starts to indicate that they may be looking to relax the restrictions on non-front-line employees getting back to work, it is imperative that businesses ensure that this is undertaken in a methodical and well thought out manner.  Employers have a responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 to protect the ‘health, safety and welfare’ at work of all their employees, as well as others on their premises, including temporary workers, casual workers, the self-employed, clients, visitors and the general public.

HDI Global SE and risk control experts RiskSTOP have put together a document (which you can access here) outlining a series of questions employers should be considering before encouraging their employees to return to the workplace.

More specific guidance is available for HDI Global SE clients and policyholders from David Reynolds and the RiskSTOP team via the RiskSTOP Technical Helpline – please call 01305 215587
